Debt Happens...

Yesterday, we launched our 'Debt Happens…You’re Not Alone' campaign, encouraging you to seek advice from your local CAB if worried about debt.

The pandemic has been a very difficult time financially for many people. A cost of living crisis is emerging with increasing energy costs, inflation rates and job losses or reduced incomes due to the pandemic, which means that more people are struggling financially. The months following Christmas are particularly difficult, as most of us will receive a series of bills from credit cards to energy, to the first council tax bill of the year.

We want to encourage people who are worried about debt, to seek advice from their local Citizens Advice Bureau and know that our advice is always free, confidential and impartial.

The campaign will be running from Monday 7th March until Thursday 31st March 2022.
